The Waiting Game

Until the world opens up

I’ll be cornered between four walls

Painted in an untelling hue of blue

Sunlight hardly enters

The walls of my mind, darkened

Drifting slowly from this realm

Stuck in between

Neither heaven, nor hell

We play the waiting game

Uneasy of the impending

Day of judgement

For our souls to be freed

Awakened- to live again

Til then I’ll keep on waiting.
