Here I lay with my eyes wide shut

Replaying memories like a film

Vividly recounting scenes as if it were yesterday

I feel the urge to star in those moments

Watching through rose-colored glasses

Romanticizing of times past

Craving to relive those scenes

Never imagining- I would want to go back
