Warm Mediterran winds filled the atmosphere
Peering out of the cafe-into the streets of Athens
Coffee hits the empty morning stomach
While opening a fresh pack of Marlboro
Slowly bringing the crisp cigarette to my lips
Striking the lighter
Ambers spark
Hitting the first pull of breakfast
Shaking off the morning slumber
